I can’t believe this is what I’d be writing to you guys after being away for some while on here. Anyways, I’m really excited. I’m really excited to be writing this because there’s enough energy, mood and inspiration. Like I said, I really don’t like to force myself to write if I don’t have the energy or find inspiration to.
A whole lot has happened while I was away and I really want to take my time to document them on each ‘Day’ of my newsletter. I don’t want to squeeze them all in ‘A Day’.
I might not be writing much but I hope they inspire meaning to you as they do to me and also hope you’d wouldn’t help but relate with this short piece.
So, I started to watch this Korean variety show titled ‘Nineteen to Twenty’, where group of nineteen year olds navigate life before clocking 20. It’s so fun watching them because I’m seeing and hearing different stories of their life.
At 19, they’re all full of life and already know what they want to be. (In fact, they are ‘it’ already)Lol.
They’re even excited to see others have the same dream goals as them.
Among these 19 year olds, actor, national table tennis player, Pilates instructor, architect, flight attendant, robotics engineer are what some of them dream to be. One even wants to be a sports instructor. I’m like, are these guys even 19 because they are dreaming so big, really big. I was impressed.

One said she doesn’t like studying. The way I was excited that I could relate. It was so funny.
They are precise and intentional about what they hate and like. I mean, it’s fascinating because even I who isn’t 19 don’t really know the things I like. My likes and dislikes changes like a weather. Is it because I’m growing? Will they experience that kind of change too?
I feel like, the more you grow, the more changes there is in your life, so yeah, it’s expected that they’re precise about their likes and dislikes. Later or sooner, it might change. Like they say, change is constant.
They all have different love lives. Some don’t even at all.
This girl explained how she dated a guy she never loved. She only dated him because he kept pestering and pushing and she thought she might fall in love with him while they dated but it never happened. She felt nothing even when they held hands. At the end of the day, she broke up with him. While she has an experience of being in a relationship, this certain guy doesn’t even at all. I remember when the girls introduced themselves, you needed to see the way he was smiling like a fool. Hahahaha. (I’m here really laughing hard as I write this cause it’s so funny). He has never dated anyone. When a new girl joined them, he happened to like her but he had no idea how to approach her, he just kept hovering around her without saying a word. I was like, what’s doing this one? Just say something Nah. I know, it’s not that easy.
It’s so nice to see 19 year olds already trying to figure life out themselves and anticipating hitting adulthood. They have a lot they want to do for themselves and excited to being 20 soon.
I’ve watched the first 3 episodes and I can’t wait to watch the episodes to come.
They’ve started liking themselves and I’m really excited but the rule says, ‘No Dating’. Is that even possible? I mean, they’re teenagers. It cannot be avoided. They in fact already started pairing and liking themselves from the first episodes, so there is no way, they wouldn’t date. Especially now that they are about clocking 20 in few days. Even I already have my favorite couples.
I am going to continue watching this show and navigate life with them. I’m sure there’s a lot to enjoy watching.
I want to see violence because right now, they seem to be behaving all innocent and nice towards themselves. Nah, that can’t be it right? Loll. I believe it’s because they all just met each other for the first time. I know there will be misunderstandings, jealousy, makeups and whatsoever and I’m there for it. I want to see them all have fun and feel happy too.
