With my first pregnancy, I only used natural (aluminum free) deodorant, but I always smelled so bad, and my clothes were getting stained. This pregnancy I’ve been using antiperspirant, and now I’m feeling a little guilty about it. There is so much mixed information about if it’s safe or not. What are y’all using? Am I overthinking this?

I am. I use toms coconut lavender antiperspirant-it’s my favorite! Only one I’ve found that doesn’t beak out my arm pits.

No, but I only use a natural deodorant normally. There’s an adjustment period, and it’s recommended to do a benonite clay mask in the pits, too, just to help transition. All that said, I couldn’t handle adjusting pregnant (because wow for the BO) with my first and stuck with aluminum for that pregnancy and switched after.

Didn’t even know there was an issue with it but to be honest I’ve tried so many natural alternatives before and they won’t help me, lol.

When I'm pregnant I use natural deodorant (Native Cotton and Lily smells so good/clean) but only if I'm leaving the house. If there's an event or I know I'll get sweaty I'll use my normal Secret deodorant because it def works better.

I switched to mens in the first trimester. My sense of smell was strong and i swore i could always smell myself. Mens is stronger and works better for me.
