This year, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are hosting the 19th informal summit of heads of states of German-speaking countries. On the evening of September 11, the royal couple hosted a dinner and a concert given by the Young Belgian Strings at the Castle of Laeken in honor of participants of German-speaking countries’ summit.
The Young Belgian Strings is a string orchestra consisting of young talents from different string instrument classes of all the Royal Conservatories and Music Schools in Belgium.

There obviously wasn't a dress code issued because there is a mixture of long and short dresses as well as the usual pants from MT.
My favorite dress is the ivory one.
Mathilde's dress has lovely colors but perhaps it's just a bit loud.

I do like Mathilde in this dress. She looks all summer! I am not a fan of Maria Theresa's outfit. Maybe without the print on the top.

Mathilde's dress, nice and colourful as it is, looks like something you'd wear to cover up from the sun. That's a lot of fabric with no skin exposed.
Princess Sophie for the win for me.

Grand choix de tenues pour toutes ces dames mais j'ai tendance à aimer la princesse Sophie dans sa robe imprimée sur fond blanc qu'elle a rehaussée d'un joli collier de perles ; élégants ses escarpins bleus. J'ai toujours admiré sa magnifique chevelure !

GD MT appears to have a very interesting outfit, but I would like to see her standing to get a full length photo. Queen Mathilde's outfit is very vivid and bright, again a full frontal to see it well, would be nice.

Queen Mathilde’s dress is lovely, bright and summery Princess Sophie’s dress is nice but maybe too pale for her fair colouring and pale skin. Oh dear, GD Maria Theresa looks like she thinks she’s going shopping rather than to a formal event

Hmmm--this is really a mixed bag of looks from the ladies present. I love Stephanie's dress. The navy dress worn by one of the ladies is also very nice--a timeless look that can use accessories to dress it up or down. I really cannot see enough of the cream colored outfit or the blue floral dress to say more than they look nice on the ladies (that photo of the lady wearing the blue floral seems to me to be a very awkward shot). Sadly, not a fan of QM's choice--she looks swamped by too much material. It is hard to tell because there are not enough photos showing the outfit with her standing but from what I see--this is a no. Finally, GD Maria Theresa. I have no idea what she is wearing but I don't like it and don't think it was good choice for this event. Perhaps if the blouse was plain it would help--I really do not like the design and feel it makes the outfit look too casual.

There is no Stephanie, I think you mean Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein. Yes her dress is lovely, she is always dressed in a very classic way but she should wear stronger colors since she has a very fair skin. I do like Queen Mathilde's choice. It is a dress from the new collection 2023-2024 but the fabric looks summery. Orange will still be fashion during Autumn & Winter season and the use of much material is still fashion too. I would like to have a look from top to bottom of this dress. Rose

Thank you Rose, I was also wondering about a Stephanie. A pleasure to look at all of them. I cannot see a really outstanding dress.
