Sorry if I’m bothering anyone. But I would like to give you guys some great story ideas featuring Sora from Kingdom Hearts and Mario from Super Mario in MLP FIM/EG to write as they can be similar to this already fantastic story.
Why Am I Doing This You Ask?:
To start everything off, here's why I'm doing this. The reason is because of how I myself don't have any faith in making grand stories like these and be able to finish them and I know that you guys can do this better than me due to more experience and knowledge. This is what my story is all about, I just give out these story ideas for you guys to write out. However, I have complete faith in YOU that your are able to work on these stories and make any of them a reality because of what you're capable of for making great MLP stories. For those that want to adopt to these stories and create them here is what you have to know for them. Enjoy.
Story Choice #1: Mushroom Kingdom Hearts Harmony
The plot that you guys would use for the story is that after making the ultimate sacrifices, Sora and Mario find themselves in a strange new world. New friends and adventures await them in this colorful land. Takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3 and starts before the first episode of Friendship is Magic. (Sora would be a Pegasus and Mario would be an Earth Pony). As the months would progress since Sora and Mario dropped into Equestria, they seemed to be fine at first, but as time went on, the more their hearts yearned to find their friends. With more new forces looking to conquer Equestria, Sora and Mario will need to retrace the connections in their hearts. You would use all nine seasons of the show, the MLP movie and all of Equestria Girls in this story, with the same dialogue used. Have some great music choices from the Kingdom Hearts and Mario franchises and MLP/EG so people can listen to them while reading the story. Also try and include great Easter eggs from the Kingdom Hearts and Mario franchises to have some cool nostalgia. Keep the rating as low as it is in the show. More things can be to have great one to one moments between Sora and Mario because they're the main characters. This is optional, but you can also have Twilight and Rainbow Dash develop love feelings for Sora and Mario respectively.
Story Choice #2: Mane 6’s Adventures in Mushroom Kingdom Hearts
The plot for this story would be that as darkness was spreading to the worlds, the Mane Six had been separated into different worlds. Twilight who has a new a special power. Now she must work together with Sora, Donald, Goofy, Mario, Luigi and Peach in order to help save the worlds and find her friends. The story would be around KH1 as you can use more of the series if you want to.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and all related characters are all owned by Lauren Faust, Bonnie Zacherle, Hasbro, and Discovery Family.
Kingdom Hearts and all related characters are all owned by Tetsuya Nomura, Square Enix, and Disney Interactive Studios.
Super Mario and all related characters are all owned by Nintendo and Shigeru Miyamoto.
Story Choice #3: My Little Pony: Sora and Mario’s Adventures in Equestria
The plot of this story would be that Sora was an average teenage boy, though average was an understatement. Mario, the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, was transported to Destiny Islands by a special warp pipe and became Sora’s best friend. By the time Sora was at the age of fourteen, him and Mario were thrusted into a battle between light and darkness, Mario using his many powers and abilities and Sora wielding a mystical weapon known as the Keyblade, the duo saving worlds from creatures known as the Heartless and finding their friends, Luigi, Peach, Riku and Kairi. They have saved the universe many times from the Heartless, the King of the Koopas, Bowser, saved Kingdom Hearts from being controlled by those with evil intentions, and has made new friends in each world they visited.
However, Sora fails his mark of mastery exam after almost getting himself killed by Xehanort's younger self, needing to be rescued by his friends as Riku and Kairi become Keyblade Masters. Needing more training before he can retake his exam, along with the help of Mario, who helped to try and make Sora pass his exam, Master Yen Sid gives them coordinates to somewhere in the galaxy, though the information on what was there or why was unanswered, obeying Sora’s teacher. But as they were close to reaching the coordinates, their own gummi ship, which they crafted on their own while on a break a week prior to Sora’s exam's failure, malfunctions for some unknown reason and crashes into the world of Equestria.
With no way to make it back home, and Equestria too far from the rest of the worlds to contact their friends or fix their ship, Sora and Mario are stranded on this new world until someone realized they’ve been missing. Until then, they’re going to have to fit in, their magic transforming their bodies into being a part of the world like in many others they visited in the past, and be patient. Little do they know that there were also dangers that lurked in this world, aside from any Heartless that may appear.
Sora and Mario’s story takes place after the events of Dream Drop Distance, their adventures beginning in Equestria before the season 1 premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Kingdom Hearts is owned by Square Enix, Super Mario is owned by Nintendo and Disney. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is owned by Hasbro.
Final Story Choice: Mushroom Kingdom Equestria Girls
The plot for this story would be that Sora, Donald, Goofy, Mario, Luigi and Peach arrive at Canterlot High to search for magical disturbances by the order of King Micke. But when they get there, they get more than they bargained for. This story will follow all Equestria Girls movies and specials.
As for this part of the stories, it's going to play a big role in all of them. For these stories have the fights, whether against the Heartless, Bowser, Organization XIII members or MLP FIM/EG characters be great and as long as they have to be so they can be entertaining to read. Also try to have some great team attacks between Sora and Mario for more enjoyments in the fights.
For Sora, he will be using all the skills he had with his Keyblade, all his Drive Forms, KH2/KH3 summons and will use his KH2/KH3 Keyblades throughout the story. And for Mario, he will be using his fighting skills form Smash Bros, his hammer and his different abilities from the Mario series. You can even have Mario use Warp Pipes to summons his friends. He will use all his power ups throughout the story.
