ALPHARETTA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY2+ weeks agoAgencySharing the latest update from the Milton Police Department regarding yesterday's home invasion suspect: "Milton Police are investigating and working to apprehend the person responsible for a home invasion that took place midday Monday at a central Milton residence. Authorities were alerted shortly before noon on May 20 about a home invasion in progress at a home on Highgrove Club Drive. The suspect stole one of his victim’s vehicles and departed the property. (Note: There is only a single suspect, not two as had been previously reported.) The stolen vehicle was identified and, ultimately, found abandoned by Alpharetta Police near North Point Parkway. The suspect had exited the vehicle and fled on foot toward the Big Creek Greenway. Authorities focused their manhunt on this natural area, at one point locking down nearby schools. Alpharetta Police lifted that lockdown later Monday afternoon without having caught the suspect but believing there was – then and now – no imminent danger to citizens. This post shows pictures of the suspect as seen in a surveillance video. If you have any information on this suspect or the case generally, please contact Milton Police Detective Tidwell at 678-242-2614 and/or Rebecca.Tidwell@miltonga.gov. Because this is an ongoing investigation, the Milton Police Department is not releasing additional details. We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we work diligently to resolve this case. Anyone with information on the case can submit a tip anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online at www.StopCrimeAtl.org, or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). People do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000." As always, if you see anything (or anyone) suspicious, call 911 immediately! #AlpharettaDPS #ADPS #Police #AlpharettaStrong #welovealpharetta34Like26
