Hi my name is Ashanti Suber and I currently attend Miller Grove High School as a Junior. I have been very involved with my school since my freshman year. The experience at Miller Grove is quite interesting. Its plenty of clubs and activities to join. There are many teachers to help you out if you need it. My sophom*ore year I was captain of the Sassy Divas Basketball Dance Team, I won Ms. Junior this year, and I always received AB honor roll for my freshman and sophom*ore year. Overall high school started getting stressful my junior year. Plenty of work to finish on top of after school activities is a lot. Worst part is fights. Some things I would like to see change is the fights, more activities, and less overwhelming work. Overall, I'm just ready to graduate.

My experience there was a pretty nice one. Most of the teachers are nice and so are the people. There are fights ever so often and the bathrooms are messy sometimes, though the school as a whole is pretty clean. There are many clubs to get into and lots of fun events, you have to pay for some but if you do good in class you get tickets to pay for them without money. In summary a great place if you align yourself with the right people and do the right thing.

My senior year as a student has taught me how to get comfortable in uncomfortable situations. I was a student coming all the from Druid Hills High School. So, therefore, I knew I was going to be culture shocked. The worst parts of my school are academics as shown in our low testing scores. As well as unorganized administration. However, on the bright side, Miller Grove High School showed me effort, struggle, and culture. They illustrated that by branding themselves and their small business and hustling to care for themselves and their families. They also expressed culture through the music they played, their hidden talents throughout themselves, and different events.

As ALUMNI, I would like to see better school activity and participation. Actually, listening to the kids to see what they wanna see around the school.

I love this school so much like they really help you succeed in life for real. The counselors help you with college. They show you how to apply and everything.

Miller Grove High School definitely had its pros and cons. I personally believe it had more pros than cons. I graduated in May 2022. I only attended this college during my senior year. I took dual enrollment classes. I strongly believe that this school provides you with the best care to prepare you for an outside life like college. They have various programs and activities for students to choose as majors. I wish I attended this school all of my high school years. The school does have a bit of flaw like frequent fights between students but is not a problem if you stay out of drama. The school handles everything so well.

My experience at miller grove was great. Yes there was a lot of unnecessary drama between students. My favorite part about high school was the teachers they actually cared about you and if you made it or not. They kept me motivated and prepared for the future.

Good school, but all teachers really aren’t that attentive and caring. They care about dress code and headphones more than learning the curriculum and will suspend you for ten days.

I like the academics but the teachers may need some workshops on how to deal with children and treat us with respect. There are fights and things that occur but I feel as if that is a normal part of the high school experience. I’ve never felt unsafe at the school, so that’s a plus.

Miller Grove High School was the school where I strived to be the best version of myself. I managed to graduate in the top 10% of my class while also taking college classes my sophom*ore and senior years. I graduated a semester ahead of schedule. My overall experience was positive, even with being full-time cheerleader and dancer being my best experience.
