On September 26, 2023, the Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg held a dinner at Berg Castle (Château de Berg) in Luxembourg for members of the Council of State and their spouses. Grand Duke Henri, Grand duch*ess Maria Teresa, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand duch*ess Stephanie welcomed the guests at the entrance of the castle and attended the traditional dinner.

Not keen on Stephanies dress, just can't put my finger on what I don't like about it. MT jumpsuit looks nice, not a fan of the feathers. I am negative today I know. css

I like Maria Theresia's outfit a lot. I don't think Stephanie's dress is very flattering to her (or to anyone for that matter, it emphasises the width of the hips a lot). But hair and make-up and jewellery on both, and their general happiness, make them both shine. Damsel Dragonfly

I love the ensemble GD MT is wearing. The fit is fabulous. I like the design of this outfit. Pss Stephanie looks lovely, though I am not a fan of hemlines such as this. I love her choice in jewellery.

No to Stephanie's dress--make that a big no--but I like her hair and earrings. She also has a beautiful smile and just radiates joy. Glad to see MT in such a nice outfit--I'll even give the boa sleeve cuff a pass. She looks the best I have seen in a while.

Stephanie is so pretty, and I adore her hairstyle. But she has neither the height nor the build to wear maxi dresses. Which really works in her favor because she has beautiful shapely legs. Why does she hide one of her best features.

One of GD Maria Teresa's better outfits. I like the sleeve cuffs. This is fashion again this winter season (everything is coming back) and it is quite acceptable for a reception. I don't think Stephanie's dress is a success. The color block and the uneven hemline is something that she has to avoid. She looked much better on September 15 for the opening of an exhibition. Her plain green shirt dress and her hair were perfect. She should stick to plain colors and a classic cut for her clothes. Rose

Looking at HGD Stephanie I've the feeling someone dressed in a white dress is hidden behind her. Believe that only a person who's very small in the hip area can wear this dress without having the white fabric look like a cape or that someone's standing behind her. Also the white trim in the shoulder area doesn't look good. To me it rarely happens these days, but GDMT looks absolutely smashing in this black jumpsuit!

Sophisticated black and white is absolutely wonderful on Stephanie, but imo her dress would be improved by long, sheer or semi-sheer black sleeves. At first glance, the white, almost-cap sleeves look similar to T-shirt sleeves that were not supposed to show but do :-(. And, no one’s arms are flattered by such short sleeves angled the way these are. — Jane

Cette combinaison convient bien à Maria Teresa mais je trouve que la ceinture est un petit peu trop large. je ne suis pas pour les plumes de ses manches qui me paraissent envahissantes ; pour les boucles d'oreilles, je n'ai pas réussi à voir des pierres noires mais si c'est le cas, elles seraient peut-être en onyx mais ce sera à voir de plus près ?!

Wow! Grand duch*ess Maria Teresa hit it out of the park. I adore her choice for the evening. She looks amazing! It looks like it was a lovely evening at the Grand Ducal Residence.

I'm in the minority, but I happen to like the Hereditary Grand duch*ess' dress. She looks beautiful in it. I think it is just the way she is standing in the last photo that is unfortunate. If she was standing the way the Grand duch*ess is standing, I think the dress would have sat just right.
