Hands down the most savory place to eat in Oneonta, Brooks' House of Bar-B-Q never fails to please your taste buds. Home to the largest indoor charcoal barbecue pit in the east, the generous portions at this restaurant will have you over the moon. The perfect small town spot, you need to cross this BBQ spot off of your bucket list if you somehow haven't already.

2. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que - Syracuse
Another defining restaurant of New York, Dinosaur BBQ has locations in Syracuse, Troy, Rochester, Buffalo and New York City. The amazing part about this restaurant is that every trip here is one you're bound to love, with fresh homemade barbecue dishes that continually blow your mind.

6. One Eyed Jacks - Lockport

A longtime local favorite that's been open since 1998, we couldn't recommend this barbecue spot enough.

9. Barnsider Barbeque Restaurant - Lake George
Easy to find right off or Route 9 on your way into the village of Lake George, Barnsider Barbeque will surprise you with their amazing homemade barbecue dishes. Cooking up great tasting barbecue since 1991, this is another great spot in the Adirondacks that will fill you right up.

A great barbecue spot in the Capital Region, Wagon Train BBQ is worth the drive. Full of quirks and a unique atmosphere, it's always a fun experience to dine at this restaurant.
